Xbox one settings

Hey i need help setting my xbox one to my home xbox. It wont let me do it and says i can change up to 3 times a year. Any ideas or help?

Xbox One language setting

Is there a way to have a different language setting for each profile? From what I can see, there only seem to have one global setting that affect all users on the console at once.

I prefer to play games in English, but my kids don't understand the language yet, so they play in French. Now, I have to switch language each time, and since with the Xbox One we have to restart the console every time the language is changed, that has become
a real annoyance. On the 360, I could change the language without restarting.

That would be much of a problem is all the games had a proper language setting, but that's not the case, most of the time they determine the language from the one set on the console.

The OS looks a lot like Windows 8 and in Windows 8 you can have a different language setting for each profile, so, I guess this be could be done.. Or is there a way I didn't find yet.

For me, 36 bits is the best and putting it to PC (RGB Full) was the most beautiful picture setting I can get. Saw a complete difference in textures when I went to play. Tested it in Battlefield 4 and Ryse... I must say it is incredible! I hope you got a
1080p HDTV because 720p won't look as great.

Have you done it 3 times already? The reason I ask is because my son was living with me and he was changing back and forth between mine and his without knowing that it could only be done 3 times per year.

I called the MS support number and explained what happend.They fixed it so I could make my console my home console. They also told me to not let it happen again lol. It's all good now.

 

Yea, you shouldn't have to switch you console anymore than once a year (if you ask me). They prevent you from doing more than 3, because (inevitably) people will take advantage of the service to just "steal" games from the marketplace.

 

Im pretty sure that is what happened. I didnt try to game share i was just movin around and switchin between a couple xbox's was all. What is the MS number you called?

 

You can game share. Just don't abuse the system. Which is what you did.

Just tell them you were messing with settings without knowing what they were exactly, say you'd like a reset on the home xbox setting.
