xbox one set up- changing names.

when I got my xbox, i let the xbox pick a default name. not that I play, along with my son and daughter, whats the easiest way to delete that deleate that default name and add my name, my sons name and daughters name?

XBox One Name Problem

I have a problem with changing my user name on my Xbox One.

When I initially set up my new Xbox One, I brought my user name over from my xbox 360: . It and my gold membership conneted to the new system with no problems. The issue I have is when the One kinect system see's my face and logs me in, it pops
up and says "Welcome Jen".
I have no idea where the name Jen Bright came from. I have never set up that name on any of my accounts. No where in the profile set up is there a place to change your name, other then your gaming name. I logged into my computer and my profile correctly
states my name is "Robbie" and no where does it show up as Jen Bright.

Is there a place I can change this feature, so when I walk into the room it says "hello Robbie"?

XBOX ONE needs a rename.

It sounds stupid this is the 3rd xbox and they called it xbox one. More like xbox three (X3) who comes up with these stupid names. Stop changing name and do what sony does. Unless MS can't count to 3.

Well if you let the xbox pick the name for you, then you will have a free name change that you can use to update it. Otherwise to change the name it will cost money to do so.

Alternatively, you could simply create a new account for them and pick a new name that way

support.xbox.com/.../change-xbox-live-gamertag

Try logging into your Microsoft account on the web page and change your name settings there. It should then proper gate automatically over to your xbox on the next login of your profile

So recently Ive been thinking that I should change my name on Xbox, I've always been EchoxWindwaker. Then, when I tried to change it out for a new name that was available, it charged me the normale fee, and not the free one for the first time. I'm
extremely confused why because I've never changed it before.

When you set up your account for the every 1st time it will give you a name automatic if you choose to make a name when you set up the account then that use your free change

Make sure she has her setting set up to share her real name (support.xbox.com/.../real-name-sharing). The account.live.com website is used to change the name on
her account if it doesn't display the correct name.

The upper left of the console will only display the gamertag.
