Register your serial number if still not done.

Follow process for a repair.

If your country do not support it, you will see it on the screen. You will have to contact your retailler.

An Xbox Support agent shared this information in February for a user that needed a service number for India as the call back link wasn't working for them.

If your Microsoft Account is set to the proper region, the best place to check would be by signing into the Microsoft Devices Support Page ( devicesupport.microsoft.com ).

Sadly the xbox one will be region locked to the us. Codes and games bought in india will not work with the xbox one, however if you were to have family, or friends that you trust buy games/codes in the us they should work in india. The codes and games
purchased must match the region your account/xbox originated from.

and india isn't an xbox live region

region locks mean what they mean its not available in your region

if you do not physically live in the region of your account you cannot get the content

as there is no india region thats not possible

changing to russia or japan will not change the fact that you live in an non xbox region
