    Xbox one servers for NHL 18 are atrocious. The amount of games now that I have lost because of getting disconnected from the networks is crazy. I should have a winning percentage of around 90% but due to the server disconnections I am sitting at around 60%....

    After numerous calls to EA and Xbox live, I have performed all necessary actions (i.e. static IP, open ports, et al). My connection is hard wired to Bell homehub 2000, with a dedicated business line, fibre of 300 up / 300 down. I have even tried VPN services....literally
    everything and everything.....YET I still get booted from the network.....

    Anyone else have the same issue? I wonder if it has to do with how the games are purchased......I now always purchase through my online account....it seems when I do I always run into connection problems....

    So.eone please advise and help as I am now tempted to just simply give up on XBOX and move to the PlayStation platform.....my neighbour has this and has never encountered this type of thing on Sony's online gaming......apparently it is understood that online
    gaming on XBOX is much larger, however, So us is far more reliable and stable.....and it's more than big enough to always find competitors.....perhaps it's time to become a PlayStation guy.....

    No, the servers are completely different for a start.

    Xbox One uses part of Microsofts Azure servers called "thunderhead" reserved for the Xbox One.

    360 uses another set of servers.

    Maybe if the xbox one servers were as good as the 360 servers. it always seems to screw the people on xbox one more than the 360. i thought the one was supposed to be next gen? maybe it is, but the server blows

    The only time I have had heard "virtual servers" mentioned was with the cod servers for PlayStation. The 300k servers that MS is dedicated solely to Xbox one and the games that will be played on Xbox one. MS has A LOT of servers so I don't doubt they probably
    have about 1 Million.
