    So my xbox series x is not turning on at all, no light only the ringing noise. I've tried pretty much everything I could think of doing, tried another outlet, bought a new cable, unplugged everything and power cycled it, called tried to use a controller to get it to turn on by plugging it into my xbox and holding the home button. I know I'm probably shooting in the dark once again by even asking for help and probably need to swallow the truth and get it replaced but I also tried this and microsoft wanted 300$ to get it fixed cause the warranty literally JUST ran out I feel really out of luck and I'm not about to spend 3 quarters of full price just to get it fixed and risk the chance of it coming back and breaking again months later might as well just buy a new one if I can't find a way to fix this :/



    anyways, just looking for new ideas to try besides the 4 major troubleshooting steps on all those stupid articles.

    I upgraded from the ultimate pass on Xbox one X to the series X but it won't let me claim it on the series X.

    Also Tetris connected won't open either.

    If it's the standard Xbox One edition, then it'll work on an Xbox One X and on a Series S/X, but it won't be available until May.

    Hi,

    Your drive will work the same on Series X as it does on Xbox One and you won't need to format it.

    However, Series X games or Xbox One games with Series X enhancements will not run from that drive and will either need to be installed internally or to an external SSD designed for Series X/S.

    Your hard drive will be too slow for Series X games. They can be stored there, but not run from there.

    Hi,

    The Series X supports 1080P resolution in the settings same as Xbox One and One X. Games on Series X will still render in 4K, but will downscale to whatever display you have. There won't be any loss in quality at all.
