Xbox one Series S update loop?

Hey, so as my subject says my Xbox has been on a constant update loop, i have reset it multiple times but it still just will not stop updating. It hasn't been in in a few, yes but recently I've had three updates for the three times I've booted up the Xbox within a one week timeframe, every time the MB needed gets higher. I've done almost everything to try and fix it and I'm going to get on my last nerve with trying!

I've even gone as far as to factory resetting the Xbox to see if it'll stop finally but a day later it popped up the same message of "Start update" and the usual update screen, it does the full update and always has a steady stream of network yet never stops updating.

The Xbox has been unplugged an slugged back in, reset and factory reset, let to rest while unplugged for a bit, and even as far as to simply leave it unplugged. It's starting to become clutter inside of my house now because I can't play on it without getting an update screen, I really like my Xbox and hope to keep it but if i have to buy a new one so be it.

I'm just starting to get highly tired of trying to fix it to no avail.

I believe additional information is needed:

- Is your console part of the Insider Program?

- Do you have any external devices plugged into your console?

- Was the factory reset done by keeping games and apps, or by removing everything?

- Have you received any error codes/messages before, during, or after these updates?

- Besides your console constantly updating, are you experiencing any other issues with it?

It gave me a message on the main screen, I've been using an xbox series s and logging in through my phone. I've been in a loop as I now technically have two accounts with one email but I can't access the older account

I have a mix of xbox ones, xbox one s, xbox one x, xbox series s and xbox series x. I have 18 xboxes trying to download a game update with that many xboxes becomes a huge hassle time sync.

This is an incorrect assumption. You can insert an xbox one disc and download updates that may improve visuals and frame rates on Xbox Series X/S but in order to play you still need the disc unless you own the digital version of it.

Xbox Series X will utilize the Xbox One X version of enhancements while Xbox series S will use the Xbox One S enhancements.

You will not get a free game by borrowing or renting a physical version of a game and installing it on Xbox Series X/S.
