    Xbox One Sensor malfunction

Hi, so I've been having this issue with my Xbox one for over a year now and its gotten to the point where it just keeps happening more and more often.

My Xbox seems to have a tendency to turn itself on and off rapidly which I find the only way to stop it is to unplug the power cable. The first time this occurred it seem to correct itself and was fine for a couple of months but each time it happens seems
to be getting closer and closer together.

So my question is, what part is malfunctioning for this to happen and is there anyway i can resolve this. My Xbox has received a full cleaning so hair and dust is not a cause, the power box has also been tested and controllers changed so not a controller
    issue.

    :)

    Console turning itself off.

My power sensor is malfunctioning. It keeps beeping before turning the console off.

    4gig slim wont stop beeping

Either way it's an issue with the sensor, if the XBOX 360 was turning off and then beeping (and not beeping while off) that would mean that the console is overheating but this is just some sort of weird touch sensor malfunction like LostButSeeking said.
You'll need to contact XBOX Support for your region to setup a repair or you can do it yourself here >
http://myservice.xbox.com. If your XBOX 360 is under warranty it will cost you nothing, if it is not under warranty it will cost $99.

My 250GB Slim keeps turning itself off every 5 - 10 minutes.

Quoting FondestGorgon49, this problem shouldnt be present in either way you r console is vertical or in horizontal position, the console needs to be checked out nevertheless.

Probably there's a malfunction with the position sensor built within the console.

    Cheers!

Xbox 360 Kinect - Not starting up anymore

    Try these steps
Your Xbox One Kinect Sensor won’t turn on

If you’re having trouble with your Xbox One Kinect Sensor, verify that the sensor is turned on. You’ll know it’s on if the Xbox logo on the front of the sensor is lit.

If the Xbox logo on the front of the sensor is not lit, or it’s lit but your console says the sensor is disconnected, follow the troubleshooting steps on this page.

    Flashing green power button.

Thing is it opens and shuts fine, it isn't struggling to open or close it just seems to be confused. Would there be a sensor or button in the disc drive so that the xbox knows if the drive is opened or closed and maybe this has malfunctioned? Does lying
or standing the Xbox make a difference to how it runs? Mine is currently standing. Thanks for responding to my problem.
