Xbox One send audio from Kinect/headset to PC as audio input

I was wondering if it was possible to use the Kinect's or a headset's audio input and send that information to a PC as audio input. The idea is out there but I am curious if it is possible. Mostly so that I can use the Kinect as a mic for chats outside of
Skype.

Xbox One w/ Astro Headset

I've used the kinect audio and headset audio equally and I have to say that the kinect audio from other players is quite annoying. It's very broken and sounds very distant. Also, i'm unable to be understood on the kinect as opposed to the headset. I only
have the standard headset at the moment but am going to get the Turtle Beach one soon.

Can I re-route audio outputs? Headset Adapter Issue.

Finally got a friend with an Xbox one and a reason to crack out the Headset adapter.

Using the TB X12 as I did with my 360.

My main problem, the audio comes from the controller to headset...uhh is that normal??!

because the quality sounds very crappy, kind of metallic.

how do I change audio back to HDMI or force it, as I have that fed into my TV and then TV to audio mixer that sends audio to PC so I can listen on my X12 or Bluetooth headset ...

Unfortunately no, but the kinect is being released for Windows computers soon from what I hear.

Actually, that is not correct. Skype on Xbox One does indeed support using the Xbox headset for Skype calls. if the headset is plugged into the controller, audio input and output will be routed through the headset. there is no way to manually control
if the headset vs. Kinect is used, however.

Hi there, ensure to select in settings your headset mic is the audio input microphone of preference and not kinect or any other input setting.

The audio will come from the source. If your PC is the source of the party chat, it will be the source of where the audio is. You would need to either open the party chat on your console or get a headset that allows multiple inputs.
