    I recently bought an external storage and it was working just fine until I woke up and found that it wasn't being detected by my xbox anymore. The blue light wasn't even on. I'm hoping I can fix this because this is honestly pissing me off.

    You can download Seagate hard drive tools to test your drive for any problems. You can find them on here

    https://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/seatools/     This should tell you if there is something wrong with the drive, and if it can fix it. If not, then your only option would be to send to Seagate for replacement.

    Seagate drives are not poor quality. I have used many Seagate drives in PC builds and never seen one fail. The reason they don't work with 360 is that the firmware used by Xbox was not designed for Seagate drives - nothing to do with quality.
