Xbox one scrolling down continually

My xbox one (standard 500gb) is scrolling right to bottom of the menus as soon as you touch any button.

The homescreen is completely unusable due to this. Sometimes i can play a game by loading a disc but often not.

It is NOT a controller issue. I have tried multiple controllers that work fine on other consoles.

I have tried resyncing the controllers, pulling the batteries out, wiping the sensor on the xbox, power cycling & soft reset of the console.

None of this has worked. Please help.

If the reset doesn't work you may have to send it in for servicing. Here is the link for that if needed

Would hard reset lose all save game data?

Try performing the hard reset again but do it EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back
in and restart the console.

If you can't get to settings try this method to factory reset:

Press and hold power button for 10 seconds till fully shut down.
Press and hold bind and eject.
Press console power button (keeping bind and eject pressed)
Wait for second power up chime (release bind and eject)
From troubleshoot menu select reset console.

As Ambassador Zemi says, best to do a full reset.

have you done a hard reset of the system? you can also try in addition unplugging the system from the wall after that shutdown before rebooting, see if the problem persits. If not, then you may want to perform a factory reset.
