Xbox One screenshots via UPLOAD

I posted this idea on the feedback site, please support and vote if you agree.



instead of looking for an instant solution I feel its better to add the function to UPLOAD, where you could grab the perfect screen every time from your gameplay clips.

Is there a way to reverse the update??!!

since the new update my screenshots and clips can't be uploaded to the one drive through my Xbox one , I sent the screenshots to the one drive yesterday onto my iPad and they still haven't shown up, I can only upload clips straight from the upload studio
but you can't upload screenshot through the upload studio so I can't upload them and I need to receive the screenshots quickly and it would be extremely helpful like if you could help me out

 

Can no longer upload videos or screenshots!

Guys, since the Windows 1803 update, i can no longer upload videos or screenshots to Xbox Live, via the Xbox app from my PC.

Why, it worked before?!

 

I think that's a good idea to have as well as regular screenshots, but I don't think that should be the only way to take screenshots, mainly because I want high quality images. The Game DVR clips are 720p and the bit rate is low, which means that the video
looks noticeably lower quality than the game itself. I want to be able to take a screenshot of a game and for it to be representative of how the game actually looks.

If I was MS or a game developer/publisher, I'd want the screenshots to look as good as possible given that they'll be posted up on websites and gaming forums, plus game reviewers will probably use the feature too.

It is a good idea though, because as you say, you might not get the shot you want by the time you've said "Xbox take a screenshot" and it's saved the image, so it would be handy to be able to capture stills from a Game DVR clip as long as that's not the
only option.

 

I like the idea. I also like the added idea that sigma said. A way to get higher quality images. The only problem with saying a command is the delay for in situations where things are happening fast. Saying it wouldn't be bad if you just wanted a landscape
type screenshot where not too much is happening or if you're not going for a specific look when things are happening fast.

 

yep, I actually addressed the matter of resolution on the page as well.

 

I love this idea. I'd use it all the time.

 

With the amount of power available to the developers, it would be great if they had theatre in all the games, or most, but as we don't, I'll vote for you.

Pretty sure there is already a thread there about screenshots. I wouldnt use the feature but if you guys like it Ill support it.
