Xbox One Screen Static

Hi,

I am currently experiencing screen static after 2 standbys. This is a very easy problem to reproduce, here are the steps.

1. Turn on Xbox for the first time after being unplugged

2. "Xbox Turn off" "Yes"

3. "Xbox On"

4. Repeat from step 2 one more time

5. Observe that the screen is fuzzy every 1-2 seconds as shown in the video. - Video - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

It may have been that the TV signal is causing this, but I haven't tested that yet.

TV: Panasonic

Cable Box: Comcast RNG200

Aux: Pioneer sound system

OS version: 6.2.11274.0 (xb_rel_1407.140703-1704) fre

Xbox One without Kinect Green Screen

after another 30 minutes the Xbox One had a screen of static and then the screen went to black.

Same here on my console sans TV being in use. Just swapped cables and ports, still no joy. Also opened a repair order last month for this, got the console back, no fault found, and this console is doing it again. Going to test with a different TV in a sec,
but expecting same result.

 

I am having same issue. Been in contact with Xbox support multiple times with no permanent fix yet. Anyone heard of what is causing this problem?

 

Has anyone suggested a Hard Reset (Power Cycle) ? "Step 3"

Try another HDMI Port on TV and Maybe another HDMI Cable

2. And get shure your TV is on the newest Firmware available

◾Hold Power Button on Console at least 5-6 seconds untill you hear a beep and Console turns off

◾Wait ~30sec. until the light on the Power Supply turns Orange.

◾Disconnect Power Supply from Wall Outlet and from XB1

◾Wait again ~60sec.

◾Plug Back in Power and try again.

Please try Step 3 and let me know or tick the anwser as resolved if it has worked.

 

have you tried lowering the the quality from 1080p to 720p in the settings and the display.

 

I am also having this issue. I've checked the cables and replaced the cables. I was hoping the August update would fix this but no luck.

I've had a similar issue to this, with the static screen, but it was also accompanied by clear signs of graphical corruption. I contacted Microsoft to have the unit replaced, the replacement does not have graphical corruptions, but the static issue remains
persistent. Will try the troubleshooting here, and test on another TV. I also have a Panasonic TV, so wondering if it's limited to these.

 

I have a Comcast box and a Panasonic TV, but I'm also in the beta program and I want to stay this started after the either the June or July beta, don't quite remember

 

I'm seeing this bug as well on my box. Hard resetting fixes the issue, but every couple of days it will pop back up. Has anyone gotten an official answer on what might be happening here? Like the original poster and some others, I also have a Panasonic
TV (I think it is a Viera P55ST50).

 

I too have just started getting this issue. I have only been able to get this to stop by unplugging power but it comes back after the next power cycle. I am also in the Update Preview Program but I have not had any issues until I did just as the first
poster stated, of powering off then on then off again and when I then powered it back on is when it started. I tried new HDMI cables and still same issue, I also have a Panasonic TV but I honestly don't feel the TV is the issue.

 

Been having the same problem intermittently. The tech contact had me reinstall the latest update via a flash drive. I'll see how that works.
