I had the same problem, but a hard restart seems to have resolved the issue. Instead of just turning it off, hold the power button until the xbox shuts off completely.

    Xbox Flashing BLUE Screen

    Hello all,

I searched as best I could but did not find any similar posts. As of late, while watching Live TV (Verizon FiOS) the picture will lose sound and change to a blank all blue screen. It will then flash back to a frozen TV show image and back to the blue screen,
repeating indefinitely. I have tried unplugging cables, performing the resets and power cycles but to no avail. I have confirmed it is NOT the HDMI cable as it provides no issue plugged directly into my TV. Also, it is worth noting the blue screen is JUST
for the TV app. I can easily control the Xbox and change apps, bring up menus, etc.

    Any thoughts?

    Hello,

Which troubleshooting steps have you tried exactly because "all" is a bit vague, it could relate to all tv connection troubleshooting or something else.

Have you already tried the following ?

    • Using a different HDMI port
    • Using a different HDMI cable
    • Turning down your console and disconnecting all cables from the console including power (30 seconds) and trying it again ?
Or you can try and reset the screen settings by following these steps

    1. If there’s a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
    2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console.

Note This will boot your console in a low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset these settings again, press the
Menu button, select Settings, and then select Display & sound.
As a last option you could try a different tv, if after trying the previous it still gives a blue screen from time to time it might be best to send it off to repair

try the following troubleshooting steps below:

From the Dashboard, Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller.

Select Settings and then Disc & Blu-ray.

Select Persistent Storage and then select Clear Persistent Storage.

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.

Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cable and HDMI cord.

Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console and HDMI cord.

Power on your console and check to see if you are experiencing the intermittent flashing issue.

If after trying the listed steps, the issue continues to occur, try the following:

If your HDMI cord is not directly plugged into your TV, try plugging the cord directly into your TV.

Try using a different HDMI cord.

If possible try plugging your HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV.

Try resetting your display settings by pressing and holding the Power button for 5 seconds to power off your console.

Press and hold the Power button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on your console.

Also tried another tv didn't solve the issue after 2 months trying to fix it finally thanks for xbox support for replacing my console with a new one now every things work fine.

    Best regards,

    Xbox Flashing BLUE Screen

I have the exact same thing happening. Performing a reset on the Xbox one is only a temporary fix as the same thing will happen in the next day or so. This is definitely a problem with the Xbox or the watch TV app as when I disconnect everything, the TV
    works fine.
