Sometimes dropping the consoles display output to 480p will sort of trick your tv into filling the screen, the picture will probably look stretched though.

You could also check to see if your tv has a setting something like fill screen, that might work.

    xbox one aspect ratio off

Hi, does your Tv remote have a Wide button or Aspect ratio button, try scrolling through the various options, you should have Wide, Zoom, Panoramic and maybe some others. There should be one of those that will fill the screen at least although it may stretch
    the display a little.

It may also be worth going into the Xbox One Settings / Display & sound and change the Tv connection from HDMI (auto detect ) to HDMI to see if that helps any.

My guess is that you accidentally changed a setting on your TV. Most TVs have a PicSize/Zoom/Stretch setting that could cause what you describe. Try finding and changing that setting. It should be set to "JustScan," "Native," or whatever your TV calls 1:1
    pixel mapping.

I have the same issue, it occurs once every 2 weeks or so. The picture seems 'zoomed in'. The way I fix it is to unplug and replug the HDMI cable from the HDMI IN slot on the Xbox.

TV Picture does not fill screen through XB1

I had to set it up on my TV settings to get it to fill the entire screen, it first started TOO big, and then selected my FIT SCREEN option. And it now displays properly.

Microsoft to bring full Internet Explorer browsing to Xbox 360 with Kinect controls

Just hook your Laptop to your TV via HDMI or VGA/HDMI & press the AV button on the TV remote for XBOX or PC & you will have a +42" screen for Browsing too etc..

If your TV supports Picture-in-Picture, you can have the Xbox & PC on the screen at the same time...
