Xbox One screen disconnects when trying to load games

My Xbox One screen disconnects from my TV when I try to open games. However this doesn't happen with all my games only like 50% of them. The screen is totaly fine on the xbox one home screen then I try to open a game, it loads the logo screen then goes black then pops up with my TVs no signal screen. This all started after downloading a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2.

I have tried:

-soft/hard reset

-uninstalling rdr2 then reinstalling it

-removing my profile from the xbox and reinstalling it

-cleaning my xbox

-uninstalling rdr2 then uninstalling a game that no longer workes (but used to before rdr2) then reinstalling the game that used to work

-cleaning the HDMI and power cabels

None of these things have worked and now my most played games don't work either.

Any advice on how to get it to work again?

Have you tried to determine if the problem occurs with games that have HDR active, or have you attempted to disable HDR on your console?

It could also be related to an update on your TV. It might seem strange, but it's a possibility. I've already encountered a user experiencing a refresh issue with an HDMI input due to a TV update. Of course, it would be helpful if you could connect your console to another TV and check if the issue persists.

Hi, just to confirm you disconnect when you try to load any game or app? It's not just one thing that makes you disconnect?

I'm experiencing the same issue with a brand new Xbox One. I was playing EA Sports UFC and Ryse. UFC glitched amd then went to the start screen and when I try to load the game, the loading screens takes FOREVER. With Ryse, I get a black screen during the
loading sequence.

I have a similar problem but I do not disconnect from Live instead right when the game is about to start at the USNC loading screen it finishes loading that just puts me back at the press start screen with no explanation at all.

Guys i got it fixed. It appeared to be since i have always used an elgato recording device to connect my xbox to my tv that when i clicked hdmi manual it was trying to connect the screen output through one hdmi cable. Since three cables are used when connecting
the elgato (one to xbox, one to tv, and one to pc) it didnt know which screen to load. Upon disconnecting the elgato and just using a single cable, the screen showed up and i was able to fix my settings. Thanks for all the help.
