  2. My games -- "Install" ?

Installing a game at your HD will make the game run better (sometimes you will get faster loading times reading from the hard drive than the disc) and will save your driver (saves your optical disk drives). Also it avoid heating.

Finally, your disc will get less wear and tear. You still need to put the disc in, but after verifying it, it shouldn't be read again (though that will depend on the game). This should minimize the danger of scratching it if the console gets knocked. There
should also be less noise as it doesn't need to keep the optical disk spinning.

  3. disc

    1. What nose is the disk tray making? (like a jammed nose or like a scratching/ squealing nose)

2.If just jammed noise (Do at your own risk.) I tap on the top of the xbox right over the disk tray a few times, or press eject a BUNCH of times. that will make is come out 60% of the time.

    3. if squeaky than you will want to call Xbox life support, there may be a problem with the physical disc drive.

    4. No xbox live connection eh? Try unplugging the modem then the router, than plug the router and modem back in, if not I would just contact your service provider i.e. Shaw.

    Hey there AcidicMoss86040,

Is your console on a flat level surface? It's important to not move the console while the disc is in the drive as well, anything that can cause the console to move, can cause problems.

CD version and Digital Download version

    Hey wfi75,

I think I've got the message, but you can buy the games straight off the marketplace using Microsoft Points- which is then stored directly to your hard drive.

Secondly if the disk is scratched then all is not lost! you can go to a video-game or PC retail shop and usually they can provide a vacuum clean of the disk to try and remove the scratches. If the disk is lightly scratched then If you can get a clean microfiber
cloth and then clean the disk and try it again:

    Disc won't read

Its call of duty, black ops 2. And the disc looks new, no scratches. I've bought an Xbox one disk before and it's loaded the download stays on 0%. I had to buy a new disk and spend more money which I don't really want to be doing.

    Error

    Hallo, friend!

    1) You're update you're console?

2)Insert other disk, if console read other disk, replace the disc BF3, if console don't read other disk, you're drive "laser head is DEAD"

3)Carefully inspect the disc , there are small scratches , there are special pastes that are applied to the surface of the disk , in place of the crack !

    Scratches with discs

If the scratches are very light, then I do not think it should effect the disks use too much. Where the scratches are though may effect the disks use, and some scratches may cause the disk to not work and/or freeze. When you install a disk onto the hard
drive, you can play the game from the hard drive, meaning that the disk isn't used. This has the positive effect of not having to hear the disk spinning, but the negative effect of not having as much space on your XBOX's hard drive.

You may want to check that the scratches are scratches and not just marks though. You can do this in a number of ways :

-Use air (blowing across the disk),

-Using a soft, clean cloth (one to clean glasses e.c.t) and wiping lightly from the center of the disk outwards

    Try looking
