Xbox one scratching discs

For the past week discs inserted into the Xbox one are coming out with a ringed scratch on them and now i darent use the console, how do i fix this ??

hey so recently my xbox has started scratching my discs its like a two year old xbox and I havent changed its horizontal set up in like a year but jst recently my black ops and bad co 2 discs have gotten scratches on them on the furthest inner ring on the
back. whats the deal? is my xbox just like breaking for no reason all of a sudden or can I fix this? the games always work for a few minutes and then it says they are unreadable. It happened to my black ops first and then to my battlefield tonight and thats
when I realized it wasnt just thr black ops disc being scratched since they both have the same exact type of scratch. HELP please thanks

well 2 things then are you seating the disks in correctly? and is it on a stable surface

well if yes to both then you can ask for a repair

however if you had the xbox for over a year you are no longer covered under the 1 year general warranty

that being said you will have to go thru the troubleshooting first cause if you are no longer under the 1 year warranty you will have to pay 100dollars for ordering the repair online or 120 for agent repair proccess (cheaper and faster for you to do it online)

at the cost of the xbox s models you might as well buy a new console and buy extended service plan

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your console.

Does your console make a noise when this happens? In addition, ensure that the console is placed on a hard flat surface in a horizontal position with room on both the sides and top of the console for an air flow. This sounds like more of a Hardware issue,
so if it persists, I would take it back to the place of purchase for a replacement/refund if under warranty or get a Console service by visiting the

Xbox Service Centre.

it makes a grinding noise which it didnt a week ago ? We moved it from one room to another and that seems to have caused the problem ?

it is just over a year old so i presume i will have to get it serviced but so annoyed as just out of warranty.

 

Unfortunately that is more of a problem with the actual hardware, I would recommend getting it serviced, and for the time, not use any discs as you don't want them to be unplayable. The release of the S console is just around the corner so you can wait before
a service and see if you would want to get that. However a service/repair would be the best option.
