Discus and support XBox One Scanning Networks? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Why does an XBox One scan networks that it is not a part of?     Why does an XBox One scan networks that it is not a part of? Below is a snip of my firewall log showing an XBox One routinely scanning non-routable private network addresses.

    Figures you'd be one who didn't hate planet scanning. The Mako was awesome and so was scenery while exploring. Scanning was beyond boring and lazy.

    Hey there Murphster J! I'm afraid it sounds like your internal wireless might be in need of repair. To be sure, can you run through the

    Xbox LIVE Connection Solution    ? Can you also make sure there are no devices interfering with your wireless connection - such as a wireless phone, microwave, xbox live accessories, internal Wi-Fi on your TV, etc. If you take those steps and still don't find
    a solution it is most likely that you'll need to
    set up a repair     to use wireless in the future!

    Hi there,

    have you tried resetting the network settings to the factory defaults?

    Reset your Xbox 360 console’s network settings to the default settings. Here’s how to do this:

    1. Turn off your console.
    2. Wireless connection only: Unplug the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter from the USB port.
    3. Turn on your console.
    4. Go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.
    5. Select Network Settings.
    6. Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.
    7. Select Configure Network.
    8. On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults.

      Note This will only reset the network settings. This will not affect any other console settings.
    9. Turn off your console.
    10. Wireless connection only: Plug the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter back into the USB port (if you are using an adapter).
    11. Turn on your console.

    Just to be sure the wireless network doesn't have the SSID hidden right? If it's hidden it won't show, and the thing to do is set it up to be visible (via the router settings)

    If not, the best thing to do is to follow Miss Kleo her advise

    my network name doesn't come up, so I can't even go onto 'configure network'

    plus it's a built in wireless so I can't unplug anything... :(
