Xbox One says it’s connected but it really isnt

when i go to my xbox one’s network settings it says it’s connected to the internet. but when i try to use anything that requires an internet connection (youtube, fortnite, netflix, etc.) it allows me to open the apps but it just stays in the loading screen forever. on the home screen some panels will appear and others would just be grayed out or just aren’t there. when i try to log in to the xbox it takes WAY longer than it should. when i go the xbox store it just stays grayed out for a little and then tells me something went wrong. this used to happen every now and then but ever since the last time it happened it hasn’t gone away. i’ve tried hard rebooting the console so don’t tell me to try that because that literally doesn’t work for anyone. i’ve tried to do that for the literal hundreds of problems i’ve had with this console and it hasn’t fixed one of them. ive tried clearing the alternate mac address or whatever, restarting, unplugging everything and nothing has worked. i’ve never owned a console that’s given me this much problems before and it’s getting sickening. i take care of my console so there is no reason it should be acting like this. i really hope it’s not broken because the disk drive already broke and i had to replace ALL the games i bought for it by buying them digitally (which took forever) so if the internet functions are broken i’m just flat out screwed because i really don’t have the money to replace it. so is there any way to fix this? so far this is easily one of the worst consoles i have ever owned and i seriously regret purchasing it.

EDIT: after leaving youtube on the loading screen it eventually does load (after like 10 minutes) and when it does the video thumbnails dont pop up and when i click on a vid it takes forever to start playing and when it finally does it’s extremely low quality. so i think the xbox is just getting slow internet instead of it just not working. but the internet works fine on every other device i have. maybe this will help someone narrow the problem down.
