(Xbox One) SAO Fatal Bullet quest missing?

I got to the quest where I have to fight bazalt joe the first time, it showed up in my objectives and I went to the location to fight him. Played through the conversation and began the fight, however after defeating him nothing happened and it's still
showing I need to fight him. I've re gone through the fight several times and no matter how many times I fight him it never updates.

the objective still shows on the map but its not in my objective menu....

is there a way to reset the quest.....I don't want to have to remake the character cause I've gotten some really good progress and items with this character.

I enjoyed the tv series and glad they announced a season 2 before it was even released.

If something is stopping it from triggering the cut scene, might be best to close the game down without saving, reset the system and then load it back up again. Hopefully, if it is a glitch, might fix it. I could not find anything on the internet about this,
so it does not appear to be a widespread issue.

Another thing you could try is maybe see if you have any side quests you could take on and then come back to this main quest. By unlocking something else, you may just give it a nudge.

I wonder if there are conversations you need to have to get it to finish. I think I remember when I went back to the city you run back into him again. Maybe you need to trigger that inside the city?

lol yeah I know how that goes, but The Witcher is amazing, they've done an amazing job at turning it into a series, I can't wait for season 2!

Yeah once this was announced I switched from playing ReCore and KOTOR to this so i'm really happy ^^

Hmm I'll try that too, thing is i'm not having any issues defeating him at all, if anything he goes down really easy for me. Then afterwards the game pauses like it's trying to load but then nothing. So yeah very confused what happened to make it glitch

I'm loving it so far, I've been a fan of the anime for a while and typically am not a fan of shooter games but I've been really enjoying the game.

Hi AloraKaal,

Apart from this issue how you finding SAO: Fatal Bullet? It takes a while before you get stuck into the action but stick with it and its great. I am not that far ahead if you progress wise..

I would try leaving the Remnant Wasteland area the way you came in (when you are teleported to the map) and return to your home after you have defeated bazalt joe. Hopefully this will trigger the quest to complete.
