MS reported their quarterly performance yesterday. It was better than analysts predicted.

3.9M X1's sold to retailers up till 31st December 2013 ((>3M sold through to customers). Finally puts to bed the yield rumours thankfully.

[/quote] C'mon. The only thing the x1 does that the PS4 doesn't is snap apps. If you want to watch tv on PS4 you only need to press one button. In fact you could argue the PS4 is more an entertainment console than the x1. It has the web browser, movies,
music, netflix, iPlayer, lovefilm, twitter and Facebook integration, streaming gameplay, remote play and Playstation Now on the way. You don't even need to buy a camera to use the voice commands. Its no wonder that the PS4 is selling at a rate over twice that
of the x1.

When did I ever say PS4 couldn’t do those things? I was talking about perceived value, and MS is marketing the XB1 as an all in one enetrainment system and Sony has been pushing the PS4 as a hard core gaming console. So your saying that the XB1 does not
have web browser, movies, music, Netflix, etc.? If PS4 has TV by clicking one button than XB1 can do everything PS4 can do by “one button clicking on my PC. Do you have a XB1 or are you just here to troll?

 

I own one dufful, As I own many game systems. Actually just picked up another 360 off ebay last week. I do not play online for where I live were lucky to have cell phone service.

 

Really? Cause I've searched for you and no matter what, I still can't seem to find you. Whether I sea h for you from smart glass or my xbox one. It's very strange indeed. And clearly you own lots of games cause that gamer score is just rolling up the numbers.

There is no way XB1 will outsell PS4 when it comes to global sales for many reasons but here a few. The first big thing is how certain markets of the world would not even bother with xb1 over PS4. And look at how close the sales of 360 to ps3 were, and that
was with a year headstart and a lower price. Now Xbox is a week late and more expensive. Even taking out the "bad PR" that still resonates with nitwit consumers, Xbox is fighting an uphill battle. So the Xbox brand is back to being the underground console
of choice. The Xbox still sold a great amount for a launch console, MS seems happy. But they must know they are behind and that should only benefit us, they need to make gamers happy. Some of the best things from the PS3 came from the fact PS was losing ground
between 2006-2010.

 

Dufful you need to get real. You can't find me probably because I've never had a membership. The only time my gamescore will update is when I hook my 360 to the internet to do a update, My one will not show gamescores or achievments unless I get live on
the system first.

 

How is it playing an Xbox One without internet? I'd say it would be worthless unless you really like playing certain exclusive solo. I don't even think I could get used to playing a 360 without it being Live.

Not sure whether you own a ps4 as you have forgot to mention that streaming and in game recording are a broken mess and the frame rates are awful at times on the ps4 games, I have also encountered over 100 error messages while connected to psn trying to
play battlefield 4 and cod ghosts which forces you back to the xmb, Then there is as been the downtime which shouldnt happen. The psn also is no where as stable as xbox live, if you want a stable online experience xbox live is the way to go.

Not sure if you actually own either console as i have had hardly no issues on xbox one compared to issues on ps4. considering all negative feedback towards xbox one its selling well.

I think things are not like they used to be. Back in the day folks got a system and stuck with it. These days almost everyone who is into gaming has multiple systems.
