    Xbox one s


    My xbox one s will not turn on. I checked power cord, it was fine. Everytime I press the on button, the console does do its usual noise of beeping but nothing lights up or runs. I do not know what is happening. I bought the xbox one s at best buy on November
    6, 2017 and now it is causing problems. I went online to find a solution. I unplugged it for 10 seconds but it still does the same thing. Another solution was taking the power supply out and checking that. So I took the xbox apart and checked it. The power
    supply was good. Also, I just found out that my xbox one s was refurbished. As I was removing the bottom, it had a sticker that said refurbished. Like I said before, I do not know what is happening. I need some advice whether it should be taken to a repair
    center or just junk it and buy a brand new one. Whatever is cheaper. Thank you.

    Xbox One FAILS at 4k Rendering

    The player above is correct the current Xbox one console cannot render 4k resolution on the Xbox one S has that feature at the moment.

    Hi, if the forum rules are the same as before things got updated then any discussion of self repair is a touchy subject. Having said that do you use a surge protector or power extension lead at all with the Xbox ? if so try connecting the power lead directly
    to the mains power outlet as that will eliminate a surge protector/ extension lead issue at least.

    As for what you can do then as the Xbox has been opened up Microsoft won't touch it so your options would be one of the two you already mentioned, whichever one is your choice.

    How do you reset your outlook password when you get only options to enter the console ID for Xbox One or Xbox 360 and I have an Xbox S? It rejects my console ID for both options!

    There's no such thing as an Xbox One Series S. There's an Xbox One S and an Xbox Series S. That game is only available for the Series S/X, not the One. So if you have a One S, it will not work.
