Xbox One S YouTube audio sync issue

I've had this problem since i got my Xbox One S a few months ago. It seems like a lot of people have this problem, including on the X model, and i don't know if there's a fix yet.

When i play YouTube, the video starts to get out of sync, usually with the audio starting to get a slight delay. After a while of watching videos it's more delayed. And unusable.

I'm not sure if it happens on other apps like Netflix, but it happens on the home screen as the button/moving noises become delayed.

None of my other devices, such as my PS4, PS3, WiiU, have any audio sync issues. The Xbox plays DVDs, Blu Rays, UHD, HDR, without audio sync issues, and games play correctly.

My set up with all my consoles mentioned above is input to TV by HDMI cables. My Xbox is connected by a high speed HDMI which allows HDR features. I've tried changing audio settings on the Xbox in settings and the problem still exists. I have external speakers
that connect by 3.5mm audio connection to the audio out of the TV, and the TVs speakers are turned off.

Unfortunately, it means that the 4K YouTube videos (and all YouTube) is not really watchable. My TV is a Hisense, which isn't the best TV, but it seems to be the Xbox which is the issue. I'd watch YouTube directly through the TV, but the app isn't that great,
and my PS4 can't do 4K video...

UPDATE: Xbox One S returned. No solution for audio sync issue on DVD/Blu-ray playback.

After scouring the internet I cannot find a solution. The Xbox Support seems to be correct. There was an issue with the Xbox One S where the audio was not in sync with the video on DVD and Blu-ray playback. I returned the Xbox One S.

Hopefully few other experience the issue.

If you say the audio delay happens on the Home Screen as well:

My Xbox One X sometimes has temporary delays if it's installing a downloaded game, as long as it's working on the hard drive. After that, the lag and delay is gone.

So can you restart your console by holding the power button on the console for about 10 seconds and then restarting the console. Make sure the console shows a green startup screen with the Xbox One logo during the boot sequence, and after the restart, that
it doesn't have any downloads in the queue.

If the delays are gone in the Home Screen but not the YouTube App, you might have to contact the YouTube support, as they are responsible for what their app is doing. Microsoft only provides the marketplace to download the app, but has nothing to do with
how the app works.

Also: Is your console enrolled in the Insider Preview program?

I think I have been able to resolve the issue on the S by disabling the advanced video settings (Turn off Allow 4k and HDR) and set the video output to 1080p and 8bit.

Hi, The problem is also with youtune which goes in contrast to the products you said. You should set up and then delete the app and keep the console 10 seconds to clear the cache. After you've done you should be settled
