Xbox One S Xbox Live Rewards credit

My mom recently bought an Xbox One S and I am a Xbox Live Rewards member, so I was wondering is it possible to receive those credits since I still have the receipt.

when will i get 50,000 reward credits

I bought the Gears of war 4 s bundle on Nov. 16th and I haven't received the 50,000 credits yet. I received the Xbox one s bundle and free game on Nov. 21st but no 50,000 reward credits. On Xbox live rewards when you go to mymissions it says you'll get
50,000 reward credits, free game and expedited shipping when you buy an Xbox one s on Microsoftstore.com. I did that, would like to know if I'll get the 50,000 reward credits or if I wasted a lot of money for an Xbox one s when I have an Xbox one.

ill get 50,000 reward credits, free game, and expedited shipping if i bought one on Microsoftstore.com.

In order to qualify, the purchase would have had to be made on microsoftstore.com using the email address you use for the Rewards program. If the purchase was made any other way, there would be no way to receive the credits.

Hi D3athd3aler2427. Smwutches is correct. Since it was not purchased with your Microsoft account from microsoftstore.com, it does not qualify for the Credits.

Only Xbox Live Rewards members are eligible for Xbox Live Rewards Credits. Since you are not a member, you do not have any Rewards Credits.

What's the difference between Microsoft Rewards points and Xbox Live Rewards Credits and MyVIP Gems?

One Microsoft Rewards point is equal to one Xbox Live Rewards Credit. Microsoft Rewards points can be redeemed whenever you want for the rewards you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog, including Microsoft Store digital gift cards. Xbox Live Rewards
Credits are automatically converted to your local currency every two weeks and deposited in your Microsoft account, while MyVIP Gems could be redeemed for items in the MyVIP Vault.

Gems will only be converted to local currency if you opt out of the program, as specified in the FAQ:

If I opt-out of Xbox Live Rewards, what happens to my existing Rewards Credits?

Once you opt-out, you will immediately stop earning Xbox Live Rewards Credits. Xbox Live Rewards members who choose to opt-out of the program rather than make the transition to Microsoft Rewards will not forfeit any pending Xbox Live Rewards Credits in
their account. Instead, your remaining Rewards Credits and MyVIP Gems balance will be deposited into your Microsoft account in the form of your local currency. You will then have one (1) year to spend that currency on digital items from the Microsoft Store
or any other successor store.

If we are unable to make this final deposit to your Microsoft account for some reason and you have opted-out of the program, we will follow up with you directly to fulfill your undeposited credits. You can also reach out to us on our support
forum.

As specified in the transition email, Gems are equal to one Reward Point in Microsoft Rewards or one Rewards Credit in Xbox Live Rewards.

Opt out Credits will be deposited by the time your region is fully transitioned into Microsoft Rewards, and Xbox Live Rewards fully ceases for your region. You can see the timeline for the transition in your region in the transition FAQ. Gems have a value
of one Xbox Live Rewards Credit, or one Microsoft Point, as mentioned in the transition email.
