    Xbox one s won't update.


    Hi,

    Every time I turn on my xbox it wants to update. I choose to and it downloads about 60+% and then shuts off. I tried doing it via wireless and wired. I live in a rural area and only have cellular internet. It is fast enough to download sd movies etc. so
    I doubt that is the problem. It is using up my data fast and I can't just keep trying. Any suggestions before I sell this pos on ebay? It drives me crazy with all it's issues. Please help me back to sanity!

    Error code

    I have an error code it's on my daughter's xbox one s white one was a bundled Minecraft edition if that matters for anything

    0x8b05000f 0x00000000 0x90060007 I'm not sure if that's one code or 3 it won't update the latest update any help is much appreciated

    Xbox One S Controller won't charge

    Same.

    The cable will keep my Xbox one s controller active but the light won't come on and it isn't charging.

    It sounds to me like the controller needs some kind of update to allow the old Xbox one battery.

    Never mind. Thought I'd try it one more time. Didn't it start off where it left off at 63% and it actually completed.

    Happy to hear that worked out!

    When you said you were using cellular network for the console does that mean a mobile hotspot from a phone or tablet?

    If that is the case, keep in mind that the console was never designed to work with a mobile network and you may run into issues when updating or installing content.

    If you have continued issues it is best to take the console to a location where you can access a stable network type from a cable modem.

    This is more than likely the power brick has failed. Same thing happened to my x360 and the reason I updated to Xbox one X. Time to update to a new console I suggest.

    Either the next gen Series S/X models or XBox one S/X.

    You won't look back, but will wonder why you didn't update earlier.
