Xbox One S won't turn on..

All of the sudden, it stopped working, and making a 'ding' sound sometimes. In case your wondering, the Xbox logo lights up, but doesn't turn on. I'm going to assume the console is broken, or that it's something from the Monitor.

Xbox one S won't turn on

My Xbox One S will not turn on at all when I press the power button. What is strange is that it still powers my external hard drive when plugged in, but the power button doesn't respond when I press it. I have already tried reseting the internal power supply
but it did not work. I bought the console brand new 3 months ago. I transport it safely and securely in a bag when I move from college back to my house a few times. Nothing has happened to it that should be causing any problems, I take very good care of it.
What steps should I take from here because I'm pretty bummed out as it's the main thing I do with my free time between work and college.

Xbox One S won't turn on...

Last night, my Xbox turned itself on for an update around 11. I woke up to go to school in the morning, and the update was only around 88% percent. I thought my Xbox was just glitched or something, so I hard reset. Now, my Xbox won't even turn on... I pressed
the power button, eject button, and even tried turning my Xbox on through the controller, but it still won't turn on. It's the One S so I don't have a Power Brick, and I have no idea how to fix this. Help please!

Xbox One Power Troubleshooter? If not, please give all the steps there a try. Unfortunately if the steps there won't work you may need to set up a repair/replacement for your console. Let us know how it goes

As for contacting support in India, go to https://support.xbox.com/en-IN/contact-us#0:2:5

There click on the Xbox One icon, and click on the smaller "See other options" below the "Ask a question" button.

Under "Console & Accessories" click on "Warranty, Service & Repair".

You can then choose to go to the "Device Support" page to try an online repair request, or click on "Show Contact Options" to show ways on how to contact the support.

Depending on the time of day and times of operation, you will get tiles to "Chat with support", where you use a text based chat, or if available, you can also request a callback from support.

Your Xbox will likely need to be serviced if it's not turning on at all, as the storm may have blown a fuse or done some other damage in the power supply.

The Xbox One S comes with one year of warranty from the date of purchase. Register your console's serial to your account, schedule a repair, and send it to Microsoft here:
https://account.microsoft.com/devices

Any costs, depending on the situation, should be detailed as you follow the repair scheduling process.
