Xbox one s wont turn on and there is a weird sound coming from it

So there was a power outage in my area and when my power come back the xbox ones wouldnt turn on and there would be a electrical sound coming from it.So i unpluged plug it back problem solved.But i just want to know why it happened and if i should worry
because same thing happened one time a month before.

I suggest you to connect Xbox directly to the socket, and not to the multi-socket

The Xbox ones have a surge protector that has like a switch in it if there is a power surge.

By unplugging it for a couple minutes it resets that switch.

This is to protect the inner workings of your Xbox One.

Yeah, actually thats the weird part.

Turn on Xbox One:

Game and add-on are listed as in my library listed as ready to install

Turn on Xbox One S:

Vanilla game is downloaded, add-ons come up on the MS store as unowned

Whats going on here?

Sounds weird, because my Xbox one s controller works perfectly fine with Bluetooth

My console does the same thing. When I turn it to power saving mode the whole system shuts down and the ticking noise stops. It's a very weird ticking sound and is def coming from the console.

I'd just like an official answer to why the console emits this weird ticking sound when in standby?
