XBOX ONE S won't stop scrolling.

I installed Guitar Hero Live last night. During the process I dropped my controller. Since then anytime you turn on console it automatically starts scrolling to the right. When you try to scroll left it jumps right back. Any help would be appreciated.

Xbox one controller won't stop scrolling

It sounds like you have the same problem I experienced with my Elite controller. There is a control module that senses the position of the joystick and I'm learning online the Microsoft Xbox controllers are notorious for these modules failing. Depending
on the severity, it can make the controller no longer usable. My call just now with Microsoft support ended with, "Please post your problem to the forum as your controller is no longer under warranty." It is less than a year old and now I have a $150 paper
weight.....

Xbox one controller won't stop scrolling

Hi I searched the forums for an answer but couldn't find anything so sorry if it's a repeat question and I missed it. I'm having problems with my Xbox one controller. It wouldn't stop scrolling to the right. I did a software update on the controller and
now it goes to the right and down. Any suggestions as to what I can do? I did a factory reset on the console already.

My guess would be that the controller landed on the RB button and that's caused it (or the underlying button) to get stuck in. If it's the plastic section that you actually press with your finger, you might be able to pop it back up, but if it's the actual
button that's underneath that then you'd have to take the controller apart and see what the situation is.

Yep, I’ve bought a new Xbox One S instead of old one for my 4K-tv and most of the apps won't install. Stops right at the beginning. Reset didn’t help.

On both it stops at the same place. on xbox.com i scroll through all the past downloads and after the one download i mentioned it wont scroll any further and the same goes for on the xbox.

It could be that the power supply is faulty, however there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to determine that: Your Xbox One console won't
turn on

If you have an Xbox One S, then just scroll to the top of that page for some pointers.

There is also a link in those steps on how you can request a repair if the troubleshooting steps don't help
