Xbox One S wont start

So, after 3-4 years of service, my first problem with my Xbox One S has occurred.

1. I just casually try to turn on my console one day to carry the lads on the Pro clubs. My xbox turns on (the logo on the console lights up etc), but it's just a complete darkscreen.

2. I try all the casual stuff, (unplugging all cables etc etc).

3. Nothing works.

4. I then follow the "solve the problem yourself"-guide on Microsofts website and nothing seem to work.

5. I reach the step where you press the buttons on the console (cant remember which...) and it sends you to the troubleshoot area. Now I finally don't just have a complete blackscreen anymore.

6. I try all the things available (restart, offline system update and finally resetting it). Nothing works.

7. I then unplug my xbox and just let it collect dust in my room for 4 months when I decide to try everything again.

8. I try everything again and it still wont work. Now I just get sent directly to the troubleshoot-area everytime I power on my xbox with the errorcode "E100 00000701 800703ED".

Worth to mention: Sometimes when I perform Offline System Updates, it will crash down before it completes. But it has gone all the way through atleast one time and still didn't fix my xbox.

Is there anything that might be able to get my xbox to work again?

You may need to replace the disk in the console. Lower cost SATA SSD are an option now for a console to move up to faster performance. 500GB SSD prices are very reasonable and 1TB units are falling fast.

Well I tried that as well , One time it worked and was happy about it but at the present moment its a brick , I tried keeping it idle for a day unplugged

Tried to restart it again , but it wont just start/boot up. Starts with the LED light on , Fan goes up , No boot logo , and eventually dies

This might sound crazy but Hear me out I’ve had the same problems with my Xbox and what I did was simply either unpluged the power cord or restarted the console

Hi, sorry for that issue, but in the forum you can't get in touch directly to Xbox Support team, here you can find volunteers like me and other Ambassadors.

Instead of atelephone number, have you tried to chat with an Xbox Support operator? I'm in Italy and never had trouble chatting with support, they always find a solution for me.

If you are with in the warrenty

Go to Microsoft website check the authorised repair centers.

If you claim that you can get new xbox

If you are out of warrenty you need to pay for repair.
