Xbox One S won't factory reset

I have had to factory reset my xbox one s about 8 times in less than 12 months.

Today, not even factory reset works. It will restart after selecting reset console, and then come straight back to the error page System Error: E102 10070C02 8B060008

The options are yet again, restart or troubleshoot (factory reset) - select factory rest and we go through the same cycle over and over

Also tried the bind button method (which i usually do ) - same cycle.

This console has been the worst i have ever had in so many years of gaming. an absolute lemon.

Thanks for the updates on what you have tried out for troubleshooting. At this point it would need a repair, if the offline update doesn't work either. You can go to

device support to set up a repair yourself and also see if it is in warranty. If it is out of warranty doing online also saves you a little bit of money than setting it up through a support agent. As there is no other resolution for this issue I will go
ahead and lock this thread.

Unfortunately all electronics have a few lemons. General wear and tear can affect them differently. It sounds like all you can do is send the console in for repairs. If it's over a year old it won't be covered under warranty. It will still be less then
purchasing a new one.

Its a hard drive issue sadly the hard deives seem to be crashing. Also are you a preview member? There is some issues with using a OSU1 if your a preview member you have to wait for the OSU1 to catch up to your preview before it will work sadly. please get
a ticket and have it sent in asap. If its not covered any more and you dont wanna pay there fee iw as quated 250. There are other ways to try just google it.

Sorry should have mentioned i already tried off-line update...via usb.

Starts to apply upgrade, but then stops, gives me a 101 error...

I think it's cooked.

thanks, appreciate the response. Yeah, this one has always had problems since i bought it to replace an equally bad quality first gen xbox one, as every time an update come on, it crashes.... and i have been onto support so many times about it and tbh,
i have usually done everything they ever suggest prior to contacting them ..probably not even worth sending away at my cost to have something that is about as useful as a house-brick looked at only to be told it's beyond repair.
