    Xbox one S won’t display image or sign me in


    Xbox one S won’t display an image on tv and before hand it wouldn’t let me sign into my account and would get stuck on the signing in screen; does anyone know how to fix this? Also this just happened today and has been working fine before.

    I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your console.

    Would you mind giving this a try?

    - Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.

    - Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes.

    - Plug the power cord back in.

    - Turn your console on and check if the issues persist.

    If that doesn't work, I'd appreciate it if you answer the following questions:

    • Is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider program?

    • Is your screen completely blank? does it say something along the lines of "No signal" or "Unsupported input"?

    • Do you have any external devices plugged into your console's USB ports?

    • Have you already tried using a different HDMI cable or HDMI port on your TV?

    The Xbox One S should work with this television but I don't know what settings you will need to use on it to allow things such an HDR images to be displayed.

    Hey TacticalMoose

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to project an image on your TV.

    Since you have already taken the liberty of trying cables, its likely that the resolution on your console may have been change, or is not supported by your TV.

    What I would recommend is to attempt to
    reset your display     as this will allow your console to change to a lower resolution and thus allow you to configure it apporpiatly.

    Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!

    I tried that and it did not work. For some reason it only beeped once, never beeped twice. And I tried numerous times and a few different strategies and It did not work. Someone said on another forum that the Motherboards or HDD drives can sometimes fail,
    Do you think this is possible?
