Xbox one s won’t connect to Seagate

Hello All,

My Xbox One S says it recognizes my external hard drive but says the connection is too week and to try a different USB port. I have tried both. My Seagate came unplugged and fell while i was cleaning. After getting the message twice i tried unpluging
it and plugging it back in i turned of everything and turned it back on amd still nothing. Now it won’t recognize that its plugged it. This problem occured after that. Is it that my seagate is broken or is it the cable? I have alot of games on there and I
would really like some help please. And now the little blue light won’t come on.

I have a similar issue following the last update. I had a Seagate 5TB hooked up during the update with all my games installed on it and now the Xbox One (Day One Edition) won't detect it. I tried every USB port, I've switched out the power adaptor and
USB cables, hard and soft resets, and cycling the Xbox power setting for storage in the "Instant-on" options.

I've even tried hooking it up to my laptop but it only registers the initial connection and then stops detecting the drive altogether.

Thankyou for the response, I have other things connected to my WiFi and are having no issues with them so my WiFi is on and working, I even pulled out my Xbox one and it’s having the same issues, I’ve reset my Xbox series s, and It won’t even let me finish the setup stages because it just simply won’t connect.

No it won’t, only a plain Xbox one and Xbox x|s will work for Disney infinity

The issue only seems to happen with s/x enhanced games I have a seagate hard drive that you plug in to the Xbox by usb should I take it out and try to do what you have said to me as I think it might have something to do with it / edit I have tried to do what you have told me to it won’t work
