Xbox One S with fixed resolution DVI Monitor

EDIT: I'm looking at my DVI-HDMI cable's pinout; it looks like its DVI-D. Do I need some sort of DVI-I to HDMI adapter instead?

EDIT 2: I have done some more extensive searching and found that this monitor only supports the two native resolutions in the attachment (1280x800). It does not support 1080p, 720p or 480p because it cannot upscale the resolution internally. Any cheap solutions
like a converter box or something here?

I am trying to connect my Xbox One S to my monitor, but no output is showing. The monitor is a Dell 3007WFP-HC and only has a DVI input. I have a DVI-HDMI adapter, which works when I connect my laptop (HDMI out) to the monitor. I attached my monitor specs.
I know Dual-link is basically out of the question, but any chance I can use it at all, single link? I tried playing with the settings using a TV, but am not sure if theres a setting that's best

based on what you mentioned in EDIT 2, I personally would think that purchasing a different monitor would be the best solution, to prevent any other issues along the way. From what I could find is that the model is over 10 years old (I could be wrong)

use a HDMI cable connect the xbox to the monitor.

You can also use a HDMI to DVI cable as well.

Go into your console settings menu on the Xbox 360 to switch resolutions. The Xbox 360 uses 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p resolutions. If the monitor is not compatible with all resolutions, switch your Xbox 360's resolution to one that is compatible
with your monitor's capabilities. use the audio out on your Xbox 360 to connect to a stereo or other source for sound.

Is it possible to get at least a resolution of 1680x1050 with the composite cable if my monitor only has DVI, VGA, video and s-video input?

I find my xbox one s working while set on dvi and 640p resolution. But no display on 1080p and hdmi.

Just to add i am using samsung smart 3d tv aand also tested my xbox one s on 2 other displays.. one pc monitor and one more smart tv

If your monitor supports HDMI then you just do it like that. However not all monitors support that or have speakers so in order to have sound you'll need a workaround.

If your monitor only supports DVI or HDMI displayport you'll need to get a cable which converts from HDMI to DVI or HDMI to displayport

DVI does not support sound there is however an HDMI to DVI+audio cable, this audio cable is just a regular 3.5mm jack which can be plugged into external speakers so you'll just have to see which works best for you.

And a little footnote, if your resolution on the monitor is smaller than the one you have set up on your Xbox now you might have to reset the resolution on your Xbox.
