    I have the same issue. I've gone as far as a factory reset. I've started new setup, it will connect to wireless to do an update and then will have an issue with the connection again.

    I have similar issue. I have a launch xbox one s 2tb. When I first turn on the unit it wont let me connect wireless. If i restart it from the console, it connects. This is repeated pattern... im also using a beta build..

    And that worked like a charm. I am connected wirelessly. I wonder why the xbox retained those settings for so long? And why it didn't seem to "detect" when I unplugged my ethernet cable from the system... Well... I guess all is well now. I think disconnecting
    the power cable for 5 minutes is what really helped as I have performed at least 3 hard resets earlier today. But the 4th hard reset with disconnecting the power would help the system loose the remaining power that it uses to hold certain settings.

    So basically problem fixed for now. :) Thanks for your help.

    Hi there!

    With regards to the case that you're encountering, just make sure to refresh your network by clearing the alternate MAC Address. To do that:

    Home > Settings > All Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear > Restart

    Please verify the answer if it works.
