Xbox One S - Wireless adapter issues

Hello,

I bought an Xbox One S right as they came out (day one) and I've noticed that I have a good 50/50 chance of when turning on the Xbox the network adapter cannot find an IP address. Everything else in my house connects just fine and has no problems.

My Xbox One S is setup with a static IP address and is no where near conflicting with any other device for the same IP address. Same issue can occur with automatic IP setting as well so I don't think that's any issue.

Ports are open on the router for Xbox Live services but again, I'm not having a closed NAT issue, just the NIC see's the networks but cannot pull an IP address, even when assigned.

Anyone else having these issues? Anyone think this is worth sending in for repair or replacement?

Connecting to 5 ghz band?

I would recommend the external Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter (black).

Using this adapter will disable the internal wireless of your Xbox 360 S.

If you have the money to splurge get a new Xbox 360 S or E model. But if not keep using your old one and get a wireless network adapter for it. The question is can you still get the usb wireless adapters?

Which adapter are you using? The external N adapter or internal one (the internal one does not support 5Ghz) there certainly were issues with that router for the Internet adapter

I have the same problem ,

The headset must connect with the xbox one s as wireless, but the wrotw that must looking for another adapter.

So but the headset with playstation is ok , and it connect with usp wireless...
