xbox one s. wifi not working

Xbox one s has started to think it has an ethernet cable attached when theres not one connected. also wifi will not work due to ethernet cable setting stopping wifi from working. console works fine and connects to internet when ethernet cable is plugged
in but console has allways operated with wifi and have only used cable when problem arised. any ideas. I have tried console reset but problem still exists.

Brand new 1 To battlefield pack xbox S Faulty wifi

I just bought new 1to xbox one S , and guess what it is faulty , wifi not working it says that my connection is wired , so i can not set wifi , even there is no any cable attached , test says that i should get it repaired hardware problem , anyone had samse
problem ?

cant connect to network

I cant connect to xbox live.it says cant connect to wireless network. the 1st one . i dont know what to do! ive been of for 2 weeks and my wifi is working fine. xbox s

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us with this issue. Let's have you delete any wireless settings your have saved, power down your console, unplug the console and router for five full minutes, and connect everything again. This should erase your consoles cache
if left unplugged log enough and refresh any wireless settings in your router. Be sure to set up your wireless internet and try again. Just an FYI, we do recommend a wired connection as it is more stable.

I have both my Xbox One S and Xbox One X and the S works FINE.

The Xbox One X has a KNOWN WIFI issue which I thought would be fixed a YEAR later..

Don't try to troubleshoot me with all that Wifi wizard (Mod Removed - Profanity)

And it still lags but my wifi works with other devices including a different xbox series s

by design, nothing you can do.

think it even did it on the xbox 360's that had wifi too.
