xbox one s: when i load a game, it takes to long to install

Are your installations freezing or not able to start at all? Or are the games downloading with a slow download speed that you see in the download queue?

Go ahead and test your network connection to see if the network speeds are matching or if it's slower than the games are downloading. Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics.

Then, hard reset and power cycle your Xbox. Follow this guide completely to reboot your Xbox:

Hi im having trouble with my xbox one s only bought it in march this year and when i swich it on its taking to long to load

Preloading worked for me, far as I could tell, for Destiny. The game was pre-loaded onto my console from a previous digital purchase. When the 360 to Xbox One free upgrade deal was announced I cancelled the digital purchase via Xbox Support, but didn't delete
the pre-loaded content. On Destiny launch day I bought it on the 360's digital marketplace, then the Xbox One activated and installed the pre-download that I had sitting on the console.

A download isn't an installation. Unlike the 360, once you download a title it then has to be installed. Installation shouldn't take too long relative to the download time for 44GB on most consumer ISP connections.

I thought I was the only one having this long loading when the game starts. In fact, the entire game has issues with long loading time, even when installed to the harddrive. At times, my game goes into slowmotion in gameplay; it's ridiculous.

Same problem here. In addition, when I try to play games already installed, I get some error code apologizing that it's taking too long to load and then doesn't load them. The only thing my Xbox can do is play Netflix.
