XBox One S - Way to pin Edge Favs to Home Screen?

Mark. Have you tried the pins feature of the XB1... Pin your fav sites you use in IE to the "home" screen of the XB UI. So much easier. Some things have the simplest answers

You cannot uninstall Edge from the XBox. If you hit the Home button on the XBox Controller, Choose My games & apps, then See all. From there, choose Apps. If it was removed from the home screen and the My games and apps list, it will be here.

Microsoft Edge. Select it and hit the menu button, then choose either the add pin or add to group option.

If, somehow, it's not found there and is in fact missing, the only way to get it back is a console reset.

Ok, here is the deal.

I accidentally pinned a snapped version of Edge from snap an app, and even doing settings to full screen and pinning it to home screen - it will behave like a snapped version causing a docked sidebar.

So solution was to select the Edge app from Games n apps instead - and it opens as a standalone full screen browser.

I had no idea there were this kind of difference between the apps.
