XBOX ONE S - VERY diappointed

I sold this POS on Craigslist a few days after I bought it. Here's why -

1. I hate having to create a userid on Microsoft and then when I rented and EA game, there too.

2. I hate all the attempts Microsoft makes to get people to spend more money.

3. NO INSTRUCTIONS. How the hell am I supposed to know to use the A button for enter and B for back. I have never had an XBOX.

4. Download times are RIDICULOUS. Over two hours to do the initial XBOX upgrade. Two hours to download the Madden NFL update, One hour to download the update to Minecraft.

5. No instructions to add a second controller. This should be easy-breezy. But no, not with a Microsoft product. This is the same company that inflicted the Windows OS on its customers - one of the most bloated, slow operating systems on the planet.

I'll take my Chromebook and Android tablet ANY DAY over Windows and XBOX.

good, nobody will play, dice will be diappointed, just like us, and reluctantly give the server space back to the real bf maps

 

1. Every Xbox profile requires a Microsoft account, especially if you want to play online. Also, that's really EA's decision to make users create an EA account to play their game.

2. Consoles, games, accessories, and multiplayer service generally costs money to have. Not sure why this frustrates you.

3. This website has plenty of support articles for
getting started with an Xbox.

4. In this era of video gaming, almost all platforms are heavily reliant on internet downloads. Patch downloads are a necessity for resolving software bugs and adding new features. Games are also huge, sometimes dozens of gigabytes
in size. Having fast internet is highly recommended.

5. Press the sync button on the controller, and the sync button on the console so the Xbox logos on both devices are flashing rapidly.

Nearly all of the issues you've stated are also subject on the Chromebook/Android platforms. But hey, you do you.

 

There's a tutorial video on every console that show's you how to do things.

It's one of the first things you see when you start a console for the first time.

Things cost money,that's nothing new.

If it's taking so long to download stuff then get better broadband.

Why would anyone sell something on Craiglist etc. a few days after buying it?

You'd take it back to where you bought it & get a full refund if you weren't satisfied.
