Xbox One S TV Static Problem----

I am having this problem with a Vizio M65-D0 on the HDMI 1 port which is the ARC port supporting 4K@60 with 4:4:4 on 8 bit. I have an xbox one s connected using the xbox one s supplied cable and have tried a different high speed HDMI cable supporting 4K@60,
etc. I have the xbox one s set to 4K HDR enabled and suppport 4K and the vizio tv has the port set to HDMI color subsampling (which is supposed to be for HDR). I get blanking out of the screen both for games and watching netflix. I also occasionally get the
static screen but not as common. I also seem to lose sound, so not getting the game sounds.

I have tried setting the xbox one s to 1080p but with 4k enabled and HDR enabled and still having this problem. I don;t recall having this problem with the xbox one (non s) on this TV but I didn't game as much on that console.

The green/static lines you’re seeing isn’t an xbox problem its most likely your tv. Hope this helps!

I also us the A40's. I hear static every few minutes my one friend speaks using the A50's and the chat adapter. However, I don't hear any static when another friend talks using the basic the headset that comes with the xbox. The one using the regular mic
said he heard static from me but none from the A50's.

Are you using the included HDMI cable that came with your Xbox One S or maybe a different one? Give

this guide a try and see if it helps.

It's not the TV's the Xbox One S is the problem, the TV apps that use HDR look beautiful in HDR while the one the XBox One S they appear to be dark, with washed out colors. This need to be addressed soon because ignoring it is just making it much worse as
the problem spreads and more and more people are moving to 4k hdh tv's

Well if you have a Full HD TV i recomend you the Xbox one S, both works on with TV, but you will really enjoy the best quality from One X using a 4k TV. Also in the future if you buy a 4k TV you will enjoy a really great quality from the S because the upscaling
feature and the HDR. Of course the Xbox one X will be the best option if money is not a problem for you, but if you are trying to save money the S is the best option.
