    Xbox One S turns on then off instantly


    So a while ago I was playing Grand Theft Auto V and while I was in the middle of the game I hear a grinding noise coming from the Xbox followed by my game freezing and the xbox shutting down. Thinking that was just a little bug I turned on my Xbox again
    and it did turn on and light up but it later turned off after 2 seconds.

    I searched YouTube on ways on how to solve this problem and I did all the methods I could find (remove power cord, remove everything, press eject and the button below power button) but none of them worked.

    I later talked with a microsoft person who walked me through all the possible things I could do but I later came at a conclusion that I can either download the offline system update or just send my xbox in for repair. I can't really send it back because
    I live in a third-world country and I got the xbox shipped from a different country. There are also no authorized microsoft repair things in my country.

    This looks like a pretty common problem among Xbox One S owners so people who have had this before, how did you fix it?

    Xbox One turns on then off instantly.

    It is most likely a motherboard problem if it is immediately shutting off like that. The support article

    here     just suggests you
    request a repair    .

    I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing some issues with your console.

    Would you mind giving this a try?

    - Remove all external devices from your console's USB ports

    - Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes.

    - Plug your console's power cord directly into a working wall outlet.

    - Try turning your console on.

    If that doesn't work, try booting your console to the troubleshooting menu, like this:

    - While the console is off, press and hold the BIND and EJECT buttons.

    - Without letting go of them, press the power button once (do not hold).

    - Continue holding BIND and EJECT for 15 seconds.

    * The BIND button is the one used to link controllers to your console, and the EJECT button is the one used to eject disc games.

    ** If your console doesn't have an EJECT button, follow the previous instructions using only the BIND button.

    - Your console should turn on and display the troubleshooting menu.

    - Please do not select any of the troubleshooting menu's options, instead, wait a few minutes to see if your console turns off again.
