Xbox One S turns on, power symbol goes dim and shuts off after 5 seconds... Help!

When I turn on my Xbox One S it's power button goes dim and after 5 seconds of nothing happening it just shuts itself off.. Anyone know a fix to this? This is a brand new Xbox, I bought it about 20 days ago.. so its past the 15 day return policy and I
got no extended warranty.. so hopefully this is an easy fix.

There is absolutely no dust on the machine considering ive only had it for less then a month.. It gets used a few hours a day but nothing too long.

Already attempted switching out the power cord, I shut off the wifi, connected it directly to the Ethernet cable and even used a can of air to dust it.. with pretty much no dust coming from it considering its new. Any other possible fixes?? Thanks in advance!

My power supply is broken

I recently bought a new power supply for my Xbox One because the original one **** itself. This new one though doesn't exactly work either. But this one is different. The original one just wouldn't turn on. The orange light would flicker and it would appear
very dim. But the new one I bought doesn't do this. The orange light goes to white and the fan starts blowing for about 5 seconds, then it just turns off. It does this about 3 or 4 times until it just stops. When I try to power on my console, it turns on for
about 3 seconds, then it shuts off. But my external hard drive is always on, so it's getting power. But my console won't stay on for more than 3 seconds. Please help

 

Xbox shut-down issues?

OK, so i purchased my 360 S console in late October and its been working fine. ever since that new dashboard update, me and a couple other of my friends have a shut-down problem with our consoles. when i hit the power button or shut it down from the guide,
the screen goes blank like its supposed to but the 360's fan is still running and the power light turns on and dims down a couple times and then actually turns off around 15 seconds touching the button. Is anyone else experiencing these shut-down issues?

If you have a Microsoft Store near you go whit the box and recipe of purchase. They fix it or change it

 

It needs replacing, Depending on which store you bought it from some will actually do a straight replacement in store when it was bought recently.

Some stores will not help and simply get you to register it for repair through the xbox.com online service and warranty centre, A repair is free on a console that is brand new and under 12 months old.
