    So Ive had this issue for a week now. ive tried hard resetting the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds then unplugging for 10 seconds, 30 seconds and even a day. I tried to access the troubleshoot screen by holding the bind and eject button then pressing the xbox button. but I didnt get a beep.

    At this point im stumped on what to do. My xbox is out of warranty (ive had it since 2017 and ive opened it up to clean it at the end of 2019) and im really just hoping there's a way to fix it at home. wether that is to open it up myself or try other methods.

    Since it's happening with Apex, I suggest to reinstall that particular game.

    Hi pam,
    I have tried plugging the console directly into a different different wall outlet without using power strip or surge protector but had no success there.

    anyways while I was waiting for a reply I actually got the xbox to turn on and log me in (I simply pressed the on button on the console), so I decided to factory reset the console to make sure the issue doesn't happen again. Unfortunately after a few hours of gaming the issue has reoccured and I am unable to turn the console on again. Im not unsure if this is a software or hardware issue because of this

    edit: I got it to turn on again and im not sure what to do at this point to end this issue if a software update and factory reset didnt stop it

    edit 2: I have found apex to be the problem, which is a pity as it is the only game I play

    X1 stopped turning on and off my audio receiver since update

    I am having the same problem. I have a samsung sound bar hwf450. I was able to get it to send a power signal when the xbox one turns on by turning instant on off but it seems when I turn the xbox off it just doesn't send a signal.
