Xbox One S turns off unexpectedly.

So, I got the Halo Wars 2 ultimate bundle that came with the Xbox One S from best buy a month ago. When I first got it, it worked fine but the next day I went to play halo wars 2 and I got 40 minutes into the game then it acted like it just crashed but it
turned the console off I turned it back on got 40 minutes into halo wars 1 and it crashed. I let it go thinking maybe it will get better and I should try a different game, so I tried playing halo 5 and it worked, I played it for 3 hours and it never messed
up. so I though it was just halo wars 1 & 2 so I just played it on my PC and dismissed the issue. I use my cable box through my Xbox so I leave it running all the time and it was fine for the original Xbox One but with the Xbox One S it turns off randomly.
I check the setting for when it turns off automatically and its set to not but still turns off abruptly.

Any help on this matter is great.

If both Halo Wars games are causing unexpected shutdowns of the console (and not Halo 5), maybe you should try deleting the games and reinstalling them? In most cases, abrupt shutdowns would be due to the console overheating, or there's a power supply issue.

If the console is overheating, you might hear the fans getting really loud before the system turns off by itself. Ensure there's nothing blocking the ventilation holes of the Xbox, and the Xbox has adequate "breathing room" around it to help circulate hot
and cool air.

If it's a power supply issue, then you'll need to
send it in to Microsoft for a repair. If it's still possible, you can even try to return it to Best Buy for an exchange.
