Xbox One S turns off immediately after turning on

I've read through a lot of discussions and most of them are old. I have an Xbox One S, when we push the power button, the light comes on and chimes but then shuts off and also plays the shut down chime. Last time I had the Xbox on, I changed the power
save setting as suggested to do like a hard reboot, not sure if that affects it. I tried unplugging the power cord from the console for a few hours and then I changed the power source from our power strip to the wall outlet, still shuts right back off.
No image appears on the tv either. Any fixes for this?

Well...

It might be a console problem...

if you have done full powercycling the console and tried a different outlet...

If PSU light is solid green and orange then PSU is fine...

The best course of action is to send it in for repair...

Turning off immediately after turning on

So, I was playing a game of BF4 when my Xbox crashes. No big deal, it's happened before. However, I go to restart the console, and it powers on, but immediately powers off in less that a second. Tried existing support stuff- nothing.

Original 360, getting a green power light on the brick that turns orange as soon as the console is turned on.

When I press the on button:

the Xbox starts up with the on beep

The button light dims; and

Then it shuts down with off beep 1-2 seconds later.

Have detached the external hard drive and tried disconnecting the power for several mins.

I can't do a factory reset as the machine won't stay on for more than 2 seconds, regardless of what buttons I press.

Try holding down on the small button underneath the xbox logo on the console and that xbox button on the console until it starts flashing then wait until the light is solid and isn't flashing.

I've had the same problem. Mine started a few weeks ago. Mine happened around the time of a bad lightning storm, and I had everything plugged into the surge protector, but was useless.

I try to do a hard reset and when I first try turning it on, nothing happens. Then after a few button pushes, I get the light on and it shuts off. Then after a few more, I even get the fan going and then it shuts off. Never get the Xbox screen.

I have also tried all the options and replaced the power cord because some mentioned the 7a cord that came with it originally wasn't enough power. Nothing. I am considering trying to replace the power supply or motherboard, but don't know if its worth spending
$60-80 for a part and then it not work, especially when the new system is out soon.

I was hoping there would be more people on these forums posting this issue, but doesn't seem that way.
