Xbox One S + System Update

Since the system update on 17/02, my console has been having issues. I have gone through all the troubleshooting guides and tips, contacted different people for support as well. The console shows it is turned on but doesn't give out a signal - I've tried
different HDMI leads and screens too. Also, my controller can turn the console on but then wont connect to it even when plugged in via USB. My case with Xbox support has been deemed 'closed unresolved' and i feel as though my time is being wasted. After speaking
to a support specialist, they recommended checking forums for similar issues or to report it. The Xbox is limited edition with 2TB storage and is unfortunately out of warranty. I don't find it necessary to pay £120 to send it off for repair to not get the
same standard back and no damage has been caused. The only thing that has changed in awhile has been this update so to me, that is the only cause for this problem. If it were an issue associated with a HDMI lead or faulty port (their argument), how could that
crash a game and the settings menu? How could it cause my controller to refuse to connect to the console? I'm aware it is difficult to prove or argue that an update could do this damage, but surely someone else has experienced similar issues? If anyone has
any advice or has experienced something similar, please help me as i can't find any solutions.

Make sure your using the correct section for your type of XBOX.

My xbox is an original xbox one not an S or X. Sound system fully updated and working well for everything except xbox one netflix.

Hello Shuck,

Sorry for the issue with your console. We recommend trying to reset the video to default, by holding the power and eject button on the console.

If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep.
DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.

There are also a few more troubleshooting tips on the
Blank TV screen while Xbox is on. Also make sure your console is plugged directly into a wall outlet.

Thank you for your suggestion, I have already tried this and it didn't make a difference. Please provide me with an alternative solution as i would like to get this matter resolved quickly.

Thanks for the reply in regard to this current issue. If you've already gone through all the troubleshooting steps provided and If none of these solutions resolved the problem, your console may need to be serviced. Now, I understand you've mentioned that
your console is out of warranty and so it would have a fee if you wish to get this repaired.

Device Support to submit a repair request:

After you've signed in with your Microsoft account, select Problem with a device.
Under For which device? select your Xbox One console or register it.
Select Display Issue and select Next.
On the next page, explain the issue in the Describe your problem field.
Beside Based on the problem described, we need to create a service order to replace your device, click
Next.
Follow the steps to complete your service order.
