    Hi, my Xbox One S was working fine a few days ago and suddenly started freezing on the UI. So I did a factory reset while keeping my games and it worked for a moment but started freezing again. When I tried to reset the console, it took a while to boot up
    and eventually it gave me a black screen on the tv. SoI left it on over night and woke up to the system error : E102 00000C01 80070079. It gave me an option to restart or troubleshoot the console. I opted to troubleshoot. I then selected the option to completely
    remove everything and now it froze without continuing the factory reset. Any thing I need to do?

    Alright so I’m 99% sure what’s going on with our consoles there is a hard drive corruption and xbox wants us to spend 250 to fix our console after they broke it with this update I was up all night looking at why and everyone is saying a couple hours after the update their xbox would brick so I suggest buying a new hard drive and replacing it or take it to a repair shop

    I highly recommend the offline System Update with a hard reset before and after option that was referenced by my colleague.

    Also prior to any effort make sure your network connection is good especially the DNS (use Google 8.8.8.8 & backup 8.8.4.4 instead of your ISP's).

    Doesn't work on mine either. The update fails 1/2 though it seems when the xbox updates.

    Error code has now changed to e100

    Weird. I have had same problem today. Everytime option I select be it restart, reset etc takes me back to the same screen.

    Tried to contact xbox support and just says live chat or phone calls arent available

    I wonder if theres something going on... i have 2 xbox ones with the same issue one happened 2 days ago and now the second xbox doing the very same thing this morning. Its very strange indeed and i cant find a solution to the problem so im trying to find
