    Xbox One S sync problems


    Ive had my Xbox One S for a few years, it was gifted to me a few months after it was released.

    Xbox’s support hasnt helped me at all, and i’m annoyed and out of options.

    TL;DR my controllers and headset randomly disconnect and will not reconnect for an extended amount of time.

    I was playing No Man’s Sky the other day, and my controller and wireless headset simultaneously disconnected, and reconnected after a few seconds. a few minutes later, the same issue occured. this kept repeating, with each time between disconnects getting
    shorter. Eventually they both completely disconnected and would not reconnect. The sync button on my Xbox had no function no matter how many times I pressed it or how long I held it. I left it alone for a few days and came back to it today and everything seemed
    to be fine. After about an hour or two of playing, the same problem resurfaced.

    Things ive tried:

    Hard-Resetting the Xbox (holding button for 10s)

    Unplugging Xbox and waiting to plug back in

    Updating accesories through Accesory app on Xbox

    Checking for Xbox update

    Contacting Xbox support

    Replacing batteries in controller

    Trying a different controller/headset

    Nothing made the problem directly go away.

    The problem has persisted for a few days now.

    If anyone has any idea how to help without buying a new Xbox, please let me know

    Xbox One S - DVD & Blu-ray audio out of sync - DVD audio/video sync worse

    UPDATE: Xbox One S returned. No solution for audio sync issue on DVD/Blu-ray playback.

    After scouring the internet I cannot find a solution. The Xbox Support seems to be correct. There was an issue with the Xbox One S where the audio was not in sync with the video on DVD and Blu-ray playback. I returned the Xbox One S.

    Hopefully few other experience the issue.

    Hey there!

    Sorry to hear you are running into these problems while attempting to bind your controller to the console. If the Bind button is not working properly on the console then another option you have to connect your controller is using the USB-to-micro-USB cable.

    Go ahead and follow the support article below to learn how to sync with the cable.

    Connect a wireless Xbox One controller to your console.


    If the issue persists then the only other option we have is setting up the console for a repair through our

    Device Support     site.
