xbox one S switching itself off

Hello, can anybody help me ? I am getting frustrated with my Xbox 1 S. It is switching itself off randomly a couple of minutes after being switched on. I get a no signal message on my tv and the xbox has switched itself off. I had this issue last year
when I firs got my Xbox 1, it was returned to Germany and thne back to me, still with the same error message. So it went back to Tesco and I returned it for my current Xbox which has run perfectly until now. I have been getting this message for the last
couple of days. I have swapped TVs and HDMI cables. I have also disabled automatic turn off. Can anybody out there help me ? Thanks in advance

Switching itself off???

Hey Jonny

Until we see updates rolling out to fix various issues I would recommend doing the following when you run into weird things like this:

1: Push the console power button for 5-10 seconds until I turns off

2: Unplug the power cord from the console - (has to be from the console)

3: Wait 30 seconds

4: Plug back in and power up console with button

Should hopefully be working okay now. If not let us know

I believe you can contact support to cancel your repair order.

Warrety is not valid more. Even though the fix would be cheaper than the new console, the problem may come again. I also don't think they will fix anything under 100 euros. If the problem is more demanding, it would even be crazy to continue with this

Thank you for helping. I just tried compressed air, but you know what happened when i played 15 minutes -...-

In my opinion Xbox isn’t so hot, little warm but I believe it’s very normal.

That's what service is for, they will diagnose and resolve your issue.

It wouldn't be as expensive as buying a Playstation 4.

That's a risk you take with anything.

It really sounds like you've made up your mind and don't really want to solve the problem, you have every reason not to get it serviced and any suggestion made is waved away.

It's not going to magically fix itself and nothing we say is going to make it work.

You yourself said it could be an overheating issue, you can try buying compressed air and blowing out the vents.
