    Xbox One S Stuck In Low Resolution


    So I've been using my Xbox for quite a while and it has now decided to test my patience once again..

    I got the black screen of death/no signal and managed to get it on in low resolution mode like i have done previously in the past; but now i cant change the resolution. i have made the TV connection to HDMI (which is what i'm using) and tried rebooting it multiple
    times to no avail, when i try changing the resolution to 720p or to 1080p the screen just goes blank and comes back up seconds later still in low resolution.. i know its not the TV for i have played on it before with the same console. Please help!!

    My Xbox one s is stuck in low resolution mode 640x480 since the last update... Every time I try to change it, the screen goes blank then comes on again after a few seconds.. It used to be fine before the update.. I've tried holding the power and eject button
    and the bind button and all that.. But it still won't change.. I use a Dell monitor model se2216h which is full HD.. Any ideas on how to fix this problem??!

    Thank you! Id already seen this video. So ive reset it into Low Res mode and then i cant change the resolution to any higher than 640x480.

    i have three other options:

    720p, 1080p and 4K UHD but whenever i click on any of those it just loses connectio for 20s then comes back in 640x480. Its a brand new TV, bramd new HDMI. Ive changed it from the auto detect mode to HDMI and still its the same. I’ve never been so frustrated!
